Major Midget AA's Win Silver in Stoney Creek
The Major Midget AA's won the silver medal in the Stoney Creek Tournament of Champions held November 11-13. 

The Avalanche started slowly in the 12 team tournament losing to Caledon 6-0 and to the Toronto Aeros 4-1 in their round-robin games. They turned things around by beating Stoney Creek 4-0 in an elimination game to advance to the quarter-finals where they won 2-1 in overtime against the Duffield Devils (North York).

In the semi's, the Avalanche played the Markham Waxers, currently the first place team in the York-Simcoe Major Midget AA division. Ancaster fell behind 2-0 but then stormed back to tie the game in regulation and then won in overtime by a final score of 3-2. 

The Avalanche faced a strong Caledon Hawks team in the finals. The game was scoreless going into the 3rd period but Caledon prevailed by a final score of 3-0.
