Minor Atom A's Capture Silver in Guelph Tournament
The Minor Atom A's put up a stunning performance at the Guelph Powerplay Tournament (Nov 18-20), finishing with Silver trophies.
The boys were in first place after round robin play (3-1-0) defeating the Peterborough Pete's 2-1, the Guelph Gryphons 4-1, and the Waterloo Wolves 2-0.
Meeting the Pete's once more in semi-final action, the Av's won again 2-1. They met the Cambridge Hawks in the championships, and while putting up a valiant effort, lost 2-1, after leading the game 1-0 at the end of the first.
