PrintSelect Tryouts 2017

Select Program

The Select program offers a more competitive level of hockey and will participate in up to 3 exhibition games per month and up to 3 tournaments per season.  Practice ice will also be given to all Select teams each month.  Season runs from October to March. House League comes first, and players are required to fully participate on both their House League and Select team.

Select Tryouts for 2017-2018 Season

Tryouts for the AMHL Novice, Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget Select teams will be held on Saturday September 23rd and Sunday September 24th at Morgan Firestone. There are two select tryout skates but Select Coaches will also be evaluating at the Mass Practice.

How do I register for the Select Tryouts?
Please register online (login site for Hockey Canada Registration) for the tryouts if you have not already done so.

If the number of players trying out in a division is too low, the AMHL may not be able to field a select team in that division.

We are still looking for Select Coaches for Novice, Atom and PeeWee.
Without coaches for these programs they are in jeopardy of not running this season.  If you are interested in being a Select Coach please contact: [email protected] or [email protected] to discuss the coaching role if you want to get a better understanding of the process and expectations of a head coach.
