....Av's work hard to take Oakville in grudge match 3-2, for their second win over the Rangers!
Av's struck quick in this one, on a spinning goal from LLoyd, on the dish from
Chambers and "the G train" Pasquale, two minutes into the first. Tommy "the
Hammer" Horan notched the Av's second, at the end of the first, on some hard
digging in front of the net. A back and forth tilt with lots of chances at both
ends and the Rangers had tied it up 2-2 in the third.
The Av's dug deep and
regained the lead on a slick end to end play. Horan buried the biscuit on the
breakaway, on a sweet chip from Mahler and some good work in the corner from
Jacobs to bring the puck out. In the dying seconds of the third Chambers
sacrificed the body, by taking a big hit to clear the puck and solidify the win.
A solid effort by Fullerton between the pipes and a great night for the rear
guard that bent but would not break.
All around great effort boys!!!!
