Ancaster FLYERS Web Page Now Up & Going...
Ancaster FLYERS hockey club
Our team web page is now officially up and going, but bear with me as I'm still on a bit of a learning curve with all this.
HOW OUR WEB PAGE WILL WORK
So now that we have this team web page up and going, these are my thoughts on how we'll actually try using it.
We'll now be able to add the player stats to this web page, and I'll get those onto here by the weekend.
I'd be glad to place any photographs that you wish onto this web page as well, so if you have any that you want posted, then just forward them on to me via email and I'll see what I can do.
I won't stop sending out our weekly team email updates to everyone, but I'll also try keeping this web page up to date on a week-to-week basis too, with team news, tournament information , events, etc.
FOR SATURDAY NIGHT AFTER PRACTICE... IF YOU DON'T HAVE PLAN'S
The Buchko's will also be hosting a Team Get-Together at our house after our practice on Saturday night for the parents and kids, so if you don't have any plans for after our practice on Saturday, come on over, and have the kids bring their bathing suits for the hot tub!
We'll have some beer and wine for the parents, some finger foods for everyone, and some beverages for the kids too (I'm thinking MILK!), so if you can make it out, great, we would love to have you!
BURLINGTON WINTER CLASSIC HOCKEY TOURNAMENT UPDATE
I now have a tentative schedule for our upcoming 'Burlington Winter Classic' hockey tournament on December 29th and 30th.
I'll forward this schedule on to everyone via email, and also have Dave DiGegorio pass out hard copies to everyone on the weekend.
Joining us from Ancaster this season will be the SHARKS and the WILD, so it will be 3 teams from Ancaster vs. 3 teams from Burlington, for area bragging rights!
Let's take it to them and show them what Ancaster is all about!
We'll see eveyone at the rink on Saturday!
