Well deserved victory!
Add good positioning, good hustle and a dash of team work and you get a well deserved win over the tough Sabres!
Michael was natural between the posts and the defense lines were quick to make sure that the available rebounds where moved out quickly. The forward lines kept passing and pushing the puck through hoards of Sabres to take shot after shot on net.
I hope to see this kind of effort every game going forward. Also the Sabres will be looking for revenge when we match up again in two weeks so we'll have to stay sharp.
Great job to Corbin for getting the MVP of the game for his quick thinking passes up the sides every time and to our next goalie Owen, for being named the captain for next weekend.
We will now start to see, along with our fundamental work, some positional drills to start the kids to really learn the different roles.
