Shark Week Comes Early As Sabres Fall, 0-4
Game Three saw a tough matchup against a Sharks team hungry for their first win and a short-handed Sabres team with one of its centers out due to an injury.

It turned out to be a defensive slugfest, with lots of physical play in the neutral zone from both teams.  Repeated shots on the Sharks' net were rebuffed by their goaltender as the Sabres continually pressed the attack.

In the Sabres zone, rookie goalie Daniel Li showed grace under pressure as he made multiple diving saves, letting through only 4 goals while facing a continual onslaught from the Sharks forwards.  For his great defensive efforts, Daniel Li is this week's winner of the Sabres Hardhat, which goes to the hardest working player in the game.  Great job, Daniel!

Even during a tough loss, the Sabres continued to press on offense and hustle back on defense, showing that they're never out of the fight, even to the last second.  This week, the Sabres head back to practice to work on positional play and hone their skills for next week's game.  Thanks for your support, Sabres fans, and we'll see you at the rink!

Go Sabres!
