Avalanche Win Silver!
Congratulations to the Major Atom AE Team for bringing home the Silver Medal from the Grimsby Fall Classic October 18-20th!
The young team gained invaluable experience as they battled through adversity and finished the
weekend with silver medals around their necks.
Facing the Whitby Wildcats, one of the best teams in the province, on Sunday the Avalanche worked hard for 3 solid periods but couldn't overcome a first period 2 goal deficit. They played a great team game, moved the puck well, pressured the defence and battled to get the puck out of our zone.
Coaches were extremely proud of the effort each and every player demonstrated and hope to see continued improvement and this type of effort as the regular season continues on Tuesday night in Erin!
