CHECKLIST
Make sure your son has:
- his name clearly marked on his helmet and that the screws are tight
- a mouth and neck guard
- sharp skates
EDUCATE
Review positions with your son. Perhaps just draw it out on paper to show left wing, centre, right wing and then left and right defence.
Discuss off-side (when our player crosses the blue line before the puck on an offensive rush) with your son.
We will cover these topics at practices, but it's a good idea to chat with your son about them too.
