Novice Bruins Capture AMHL title
In front of a near capacity crowd at Morgan Firestone Arena

In front of a near capacity crowd at Morgan Firestone Arena on Sunday March 6th, the 2015-16 Novice Bruins captured the House League division title with a convincing win over the Novice Kings 10-2.  The Bruins were led by a potent mix of minor and major novice kids who fully committed to their development during the season and exemplified a team first attitude which proved too much for the talented Kings.  The Bruins scored on their first three shifts with goals from Luka S, Michael B, Spencer R and Tyler D and never looked back.

The Bruins played stifling defense the entire playoffs and only allowed two goals over 6 games while scoring 49 goals for.  Aiden S was truly the last line of defense as he recorded a shutout in 8 of the last 10 games of the season and only allowing 5 goals during that the Championship run.

Congratulations to all of the players, parents and Coaches for an outstanding season. The Novice Bruins now represent Ancaster in the Hamilton Minor Hockey Council Recreational House League (RHL) City Play downs beginning on March 20th at Rosedale Arena at 9am verses the Dofasco house league champion.
