Exciting Home Game as Avs host Halton Hills
On Monday, October 7th, the Avalanche hosted Halton Hills. Halton Hills scored early in the first on a powerplay and then added another late in the first to lead 2-0 after one period. With the Avalanche again spending much of the first two periods in the penalty box it was difficult to get their offence in gear. Four minutes in to the third period, Campbell D. banged in a rebound to make the score 2-1. This goal seemed to energize both his teammates and the crowd at Morgan Firestone. Just 40 seconds later Dylan H. scored to tie the game and set up a very exciting final 7 minutes of action. The Avalanche had a few great chances to score the go ahead goal but in the end Halton Hills managed to score the winner with just 20 seconds left. Final score Halton Hills 3- Ancaster 2.
