Focus: Pivoting, gap control, angling...
A well-deserved break to all of our players (& parents)
after 4 straight days on the ice! The
coaching staff was very impressed with the collective effort (Jason’s word: “pace”)
at this past weekend’s practice & game against Erin-Hillsburgh. It certainly bodes really well that all 15
players & both goalies have embraced the team concept that we’re preaching,
and we’re seeing the results with our balanced offense.
While we continue to preach fitness/skating & passing,
we have introduced pivoting, gap control & angling to our practices for the
last two weeks. We have already noticed
a big difference in the speed of execution in our practices.
