Minor Peewee AE's Team Up With Hamilton Food Share
Submitted By AMHL on Friday, December 07, 2018
With the generous support of Sweet Paradise Bakery, the Ancaster Avalanche Minor Peewee AE boys’ hockey team volunteered their baking skills, to give back to the Hamilton community.

On Monday Dec 3, the hockey players and coaches gathered at Sweet Paradise Bakery, where they prepared 100 sandwiches and baked 100 Christmas cookies. The following night, the hockey team joined the Hamilton Food Share at Sam Lawrence Park on Hamilton’s mountain.  The boys,  along with Hamilton Food Share volunteers, set up tables and provided packaged meals of sandwiches and Christmas cookies to families in need.

The team would like to thank Sweet Paradise Bakery and the Hamilton Food Share for allowing the boys to support the AMHL’s ongoing commitment to support our local community.
