2011 and 2012 Birth Year Players Announcement
Submitted By AMHL on Monday, April 29, 2019
We are very pleased to announce Brian Gibson (Head Coach) and Steve Maikawa (Assistant Coach) as coaches for next years’ Novice MD team.  This team will compete as a standalone group (not part of the house league program) and will begin the season playing on a half-ice surface as mandated by Hockey Canada.

By January 15, 2020 – this team will transition to full-ice games, further expanding the development of these competitive players. The team will be made up of players with only 2011 birth years.  While tryouts will be held in the fall (details TBD), if you are interested and would like to receive any information on the program as it becomes available, please send your details (including your childs’ name and birth year) to Steve Maikawa ([email protected]) or Bryan Gibson ([email protected])

For players not looking to commit to a full separate “rep-like” program – we hope to also be able to offer a House League / Select / Development option for kids in BOTH of the 2011 and 2012 cohorts.  More information will be communicated as it is finalized.
