Hometown Hockey - Join the Excitement Jan 18/19
Rogers Hometown Hockey is just over a week away! Join the excitement and help to raise funds for your team or association at this great event held at Morgan Firestone Arena on January 18th – 19th.

Sign up available to all Ancaster Minor Hockey Association, Ancaster Avalanche Girls Hockey Association and Glancaster Minor Hockey players, coaches and parents.

A fundraising option for Minor Hockey, Rogers Hometown Hockey will provide the opportunity for one or several local teams to assist with the up keep of the garbage and recycling on site. Teams are asked to wear their jerseys during the cleanup shift. Sign Up Available https://signup.com/go/ikgcCCZ

Minor Hockey All Stars! Tyke-Novice Players  Saturday Full.***ADDITIONAL SPOTS ADDED FOR SUNDAY JANUARY 19TH!  

Saturday January 18th, 3:30 –5:30 PM there will be time set aside for 8 Minor Hockey teams to play half hour games on the Rogers Hometown Hockey ball hockey court! BBQ Fundraiser * SPOTS STILL AVAILABLE!
Rogers Hometown Hockey is encouraging communities to come together with local Minor Hockey Associations to be the main source of food during the event weekend! This is a great fundraiser for Minor Hockey. We are currently looking for a team or teams to assist with the BBQ – preparing, serving and collecting money! Volunteers must be 18+  Sign Up Available https://signup.com/go/JMTvVNP

**PARADE OF CHAMPIONS ALL INVITED!**

Local minor hockey teams/associations are invited to march in a parade of champions. All teams will gather in a designated location and march on a pre-determined route into site. Teams are encouraged to wear jerseys and showcase their team spirit and passion for the game of hockey to all of Canada! Teams will be filed by the Sportsnet broadcast team.

 

Festival Location: Morgan Firestone Arena -385 Jerseyville Road West, Ancaster, ON, L9G 3L5

Parade Meeting Location: Behind Robert E. Wade Ancaster Community Park Building (The yellow square & star highlighted below on map)

Parade Ending Point: The red star in front of the Sportsnet Mobile Studio on site

Time to meet for parade: Sunday January 19th @ 5:45 PM @ Designated spot on photo

 

Parade: The parade will begin at 6:00  PM (Subject to change). Teams will be filmed marching towards the festival site and towards the Sportsnet Mobile Studio. Our Hometown Team will lead the parade route. The parade will take place right before the Rogers Hometown Hockey Pre-Game Broadcast with Ron MacLean and Tara Slone live on Sportsnet. Please show your team spirit by wearing your team jersey and making signs!
