Rogers Hometown Hockey is encouraging communities to come together with local Minor Hockey Associations to be the main source of food during the event weekend! This is a great fundraiser for Minor Hockey. We are currently looking for a team or teams to assist with the BBQ – preparing, serving and collecting money! **PARADE OF CHAMPIONS ALL INVITED!**
Local minor hockey teams/associations are invited to march in a parade of champions. All teams will gather in a designated location and march on a pre-determined route into site. Teams are encouraged to wear jerseys and showcase their team spirit and passion for the game of hockey to all of Canada! Teams will be filed by the Sportsnet broadcast team.

Parade Meeting Location: Behind Robert E. Wade Ancaster Community Park Building (The yellow square & star highlighted below on map)
Parade Ending Point: The red star in front of the Sportsnet Mobile Studio on site

Time to meet for parade: Sunday January 19th @ 5:45 PM @ Designated spot on photo
Parade: The parade will begin at 6:00 PM (Subject to change). Teams will be filmed marching towards the festival site and towards the Sportsnet Mobile Studio. Our Hometown Team will lead the parade route. The parade will take place right before the Rogers Hometown Hockey Pre-Game Broadcast with Ron MacLean and Tara Slone live on Sportsnet. Please show your team spirit by wearing your team jersey and making signs!
