Juvenile Hockey Registration Now Open
The Hamilton Minor Hockey Council is running a Juvenile hockey league for the 2021-22 season. They are accepting registrations from players born between 2001 and 2003, and also awaiting a ruling on a request to allow players born in 2000 to take part in house league as well, to make up for their lost season last year.

Good evening everyone:

For those who don't know me, my name is Dwayne Sterling, and along with Jason Godfrey and Jeff Reynolds, we are the organizing committe for the Hamilton Minor Hockey Council's Juvenile House League Program.

Starting back in 2018, HMHC's Juvenile goal remains the same:  offer house league hockey for players within the U21 age group.

Registration is now open for the 2021-22 season, and I am asking for your help to get the word out about registration.  We are accepting registrations from players born between 2001 and 2003, and also awaiting a ruling on a request to allow players born in 2000 to take part in house league as well, to make up for their lost season last year.

Registration is $500.00 per player, and we will play 1 1/2 to 2 games a week based on the number of teams.  Our ice schedule is as follows:

Sunday nights from 8 pm to either 10 pm or 11 pm at Chedoke's Red Arena

Monday nights from 8 pm to 10 pm at Bill Friday Lawfield Arena.

All games are 2 - 10 minute stop time periods, and the third period will be up to 15 minutes of run time based on time remaining in the ice rental time.

We then have playoffs, and the championship team is invited to attend and represent Hamilton at the Alliance House League Championships in April.

We are accepting registration from all male and female players from:
Hamilton, Burlington, Ancaster, Dundas, Flamborough, Stoney Creek, and all students who are registered at both Mohawk College and McMaster University who are in the age criteria.

We are asking if you could please place a post on your association's webpage, letting players in this age group that there is now an option for you to play house league hockey at.

You can go to the Hamilton Minor Hockey Council's website and click on register now:

Thank you for helping me spread the word on our league.  We are hoping for 4 to 6 teams this year, and we do offer a competitive hockey program for U21 age players (plus those born in 2000 we are hoping lol)

Thank you for your assistance with this.
