Return to Play
AMHL families, hockey is (once again) returning! Starting this Monday, January 31st, we will be able to hit the ice again as we prepare for the end of the 2021-22 hockey season.

Please check your schedules online and touch base with your coaches.

Our House League season will end on March 7th as planned, and we plan to have modified Super Saturday festivities.

AMHL is also reviewing the shut down/loss of ice time and will be issuing a credit. More details will be provided at a later date.

As we head back to the arenas, please remember to follow all COVID-19 protocols and procedures from earlier in the season, plus some additional requests.

  • All rinks are limited to 50% capacity. Due to this capacity requirement, AMHL is encouraging for one parent per child. We understand that this may not always be feasible, however if we can all do our best to limit capacity it would be appreciated.
  • Dressing rooms: The City is asking for ice users to limit the dressing rooms capacities.  As such, if and when possible please come fully dressed and utilize benches and chairs outside of rooms for help tying skates.  Although not always possible please refrain from overcrowding the rooms.

  • Please remember to self screen anyone attending in person, if you are not feeling well please stay home and follow Hamilton Public Health Covid protocols.
  • Proof of vaccination is required for everyone 12 and older entering the facility. Only the enhanced vaccine certificates with the QR code will be accepted.
  • Masks/face coverings must be on prior to entering the facility and must be worn in all indoor locations.
  • Masks must be worn by all skaters until they are ready to put their helmet on.
  • Critical that respect is shown to all city employees + security staff.

We know everyone is excited to return to play and we are extremely excited to get back to hockey!
