Midget AA Team Cancelled
Submitted By Webmaster on Thursday, September 20, 2012
It is with extreme regret that the Board of the AMHL has decided that the Midget AA team will be withdrawn from competition for the 2012-13 season.

We just do not have sufficient skaters to make the team viable this season.

The AMHL board would like to thank all the players who have been coming out to the skates over the past 2 weeks.   Your dedication to Rep hockey is inspiring and it’s what makes it so hard to come to the decision to fold the team.  You definitely demonstrated the best of the AMHL and, on behalf of the Board, we are extremely proud of you.

We would also like to thank Coach Ken Justus for the countless hours he has contributed in trying to roster a Midget team for the coming season.  His efforts as a volunteer coach definitely went above and beyond expectations and for that the Board is extremely grateful.

We of the sincere hope that this is only a one-year hiatus from Midget AA hockey and that Ancaster will be icing a team for the 2013-14 season.

Please contact Mark Davies, Rep Director/OMHA Contact, with any questions about the Midget AE or Midget AA team cancellations.

> The Rep tryout fee is $75.
> Players must register online to be eligible for tryouts.
