House League Coaches Needed
The AMHL is still looking for coaches for the upcoming House League season. It's a great way to give back to the community, spend a few hours at the rink with your son or daughter and help develop the stars of tomorrow.
The application process is simple. Just email the following information to the appropriate director for the division you would like to coach:
- Your name, address, phone number, email address.
- A brief history of your coaching experience and certifications. If you are new and starting, that's OK, since all coaches were newbies at some point in their coaching careers.
- The division you would like to coach in 2012-2013 and the division(s) that your children will be playing in.
- Why do you want to coach?
- A brief statement of your coaching philosophy. This MUST include a statement about winning vs development vs fun and a statement about equal ice time and bench management.
