Major Bantam AA's Win Gold in Waterloo
The Major Bantam AA's won the championship of the Waterloo Memorial Tournament (Nov 16-18) by defeating the London Junior Knights 4-2 in the final. The Avalanche went undefeated in the tournament with a 6-0 record.
In the round robin, the Avalanche beat the Cambridge Hawks 3-2, the Kitchener Jr. Rangers 3-0, the Hamilton Huskies 6-2 and the Barrie Colts 3-0. In the semi's, they defeated the Statford Warriors 6-2 to advance to the championship final.
