Junior C Hockey Is Coming to Ancaster on December 30
On Sunday, December 30, 2012, Ancaster Minor Hockey, in association with the Dundas Blues Jr. C Hockey Club, is bringing Jr. C hockey to the Morgan Firestone Arena.  At 7:30pm, the Blues will be hosting the Chippawa River Hawks in Niagara League action. Tickets are $5 general admission at the door.

In addition to the fast-paced, hard-hitting hockey promised by the intense rivalry and history between these two teams, the evening will offer a number of prizes and giveaways, including:

·        Practice with the Blues.    All AMHL players (both Houseleague and Rep) who wear their jerseys to the game will be tracked, by team, at the ticket booth.  The team that has the most players in attendance will receive a free practice with the Blues, including on-ice appearances by Ancaster resident players Kevin Jaczenko, Max Stafford, Nick McMullen and Danny Davies.  The practice will be followed by a pizza party sponsored by the Blues.

·        Timbits Hockey.  Our very own Timbits players will be taking to the ice between the first and second periods to show the older guys how to REALLY play the game.

·        Chuck-a-Puck.  Between the second and third periods, a Chuck-a-Puck contest will be held.  The closest puck to centre ice will win a Blues game-worn jersey autographed by the entire Blues team.

In addition, there will be door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and other surprises.  All in all, it is guaranteed to be a terrific night of hockey and entertainment at Morgan Firestone!

Tickets are $5 general admission at the door.  Come on out and join in the fun…who needs the NHL!
