Minor Peewee AE's Win Gold in Brantford

The Ancaster Avalanche Minor PeeWee AE team has done it again!! They returned from the Wayne Gretzky annual tournament (Dec 27-29) with gold medals in hand. Undefeated in the preliminary round, the team fought hard to clinch a spot in the Wayne Gretzky final.

Game 1 vs. Brantford Saints was a 2-1 victory (goalie AJ Scala player of the game)
Game 2 vs. Cambridge Hawks was a 3-3 tie (John-Paulo Casasanta player of the game)
Game 3 vs. Brampton Snipers was a 4-1 win (goalie AJ Scala player of the game)

The semi final game vs. the Hamilton Spitfires was a 4-3 overtime win (Kyle Nash game winning goal, and player of the game). The final game vs. Caledon Hawks was a 5-4 win (Connor Fillion player of the game).

Congratulations to the team and coaching staff (and all the cheerleaders in the stands)!!!
