AMHL is Looking to Fill the Registrar Position
Ancaster Minor Hockey is looking to fill the position of Registrar starting March 1, 2013.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage all on-line player registrations and transfers from other centres using HCR (Hockey Canada Registry) which links directly with the OMHA player/coach database.
  • Set up the HCR system with fees as approved by the Board to accept registrations for the upcoming season, spring development camps and spring tryouts.
  • Work with the Treasurer and the QuickEnrol on-line system to provide regular reconciliation of registration to ensure all registration receipts are properly recorded. 
  • Work with the Treasurer to process refunds on a timely basis.
  • Assist with on-site registration and coordination during rep tryouts.
  • Hand over all monies collected for manual registrations to the Treasurer.
  • Provide the board with regular registration reports.
  • Roster all registered players as per OMHA guidelines.
  • Maintain and manage APs (affiliated players) for all rep teams.
  • Liase with the OMHA to resolve all registration, player movement, transfers and rostering issues in HCR.
  • Maintain and provide a current email list of all registered hockey families to the Board.
Requirements include:
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Hockey administration knowledge is an asset.
  • A computer with internet access.
