Bantam AE Announcement
Submitted By AMHL on Friday, May 3, 2013
After consultation with the Bantam AE coaches and the AMHL Board of Directors, a decision has been made to ice only one Bantam AE team for the 2013-2014 season. The team will be a mixed age group team of 1999s and 2000s.

OMHA rules will not allow us to ice a minor-aged only AE team if there is no major-aged AE team.

An application will be made to the OMHA to enter the team in the Bantam AE 2 division. If the OMHA does not approve the application, the team will play in the AE 1  division.

In making the decision, the coaches and AMHL Board considered the number of participants trying out, number of available goalies, the impact on Bantam House League, the ability to ice a competitive team, feedback from our 2012-2013 Bantam AE Survey Results and the safety of the players.

The team will be coached by Ed Hebscher. The tryout times are as follows:

Friday - May 3rd - 8:00 - 10:00 pm

Saturday - May 4th - 1:30 - 2:30 pm

Sunday - May 5th - 12:00 - 2:00 pm

We apologize for the short notice however we wanted to notify the participants before the start of the tryout.

Jack DiSalvia

President - Ancaster Minor Hockey League
