Minor Bantam AA's Win Gold in Stoney Creek
The Minor Bantam AA Avalanche won the Stoney Creek Tournament of Champions (Nov 15-17) by defeating Barrie 2-1 in the championship game. The Avalanche won 6 games in a row to capture the title.

The Avalanche were in a tough division of 16 teams and played 6 games over 3 days. They scored 19 goals while only allowing 8 goals. In the championship final, they faced the Barrie Colts, currently the #7 ranked AA minor bantam team in Ontario. In their first 5 games of the tournament, Barrie allowed only 1 goal against. In the championship game, the Avalanche scored 2 goals in the second period and hung on for a hard fought win by a score of 2-1.
