Season Calendar for 2024-25
For the 2024-25 season, Ancaster Minor Hockey is excited to be offering up to 22 weeks of programming. We will begin in mid September and wrap up with Championship Weekend on March 1 - 2, 2025.
Take note that there will be up to two interruptions during the coming season due to tournaments taking place in the area requiring the use of our rinks.
For the holiday break, there will be no programming on the weekend of Dec 28 - 29, but we will return to the ice on Jan 4 - 5, 2025.

Important Dates
Sept 14, 15 - House League pre-skate sessions for U7 to U15 to get everyone ready.
Sept 21, 22 - House league evaluations for U9 to U18.
Sept 28, 29 - House league evaluations for U7 and U8, and Select tryouts for U11 to U18.
Oct 1 - Tuesday "Skills & Drills" development program starts.
Oct 5, 6 - First sessions with your teams for all ages except for U21.
Oct 12, 13 - Thanksgiving weekend. All sessions will run but will be practices and scrimmages instead of games.
Nov 3 - Photo day at Morgan Firestone Arena.
Nov 9, 10 - AMHL will have limited access to ice due to the Glancaster Bombers tournament. Details for this weekend will be shared closer to the date.
Nov 13 - Photo retake day at Morgan Firestone Arena.
Dec 7, 8 - AMHL will have limited access to ice due to the Hamilton Steel tournament. Details for this weekend will be shared closer to the date.
Dec 23 to Jan 3 - Holiday break. No programming is taking place during this time.
Jan 4, 5 - Regular hockey programming resumes with practices and games.
Feb 15, 16, 17 - Family Day weekend. All sessions will run but will be practices and scrimmages instead of games.
Feb 22, 23 - The Ancaster Girls tournament that was scheduled for this weekend has been cancelled. Therefore, AMHL will run it's regular programming.
Mar 1, 2 - Championship weekend. The final weekend of the House League Season.
Mar 15 to 23 - Potential dates for the City Play-downs for teams that won their championship. For ages U9 to U18.
Apr 3 to 6 - Ancaster hosted Select tournament.
