What are Pre-skates

We kick-off our programming on the weekend of Sept 14, 15 with two days of sessions for the U7 to U15 age groups.

U7 to U13 players who are registered in one of these age groups will be on the ice for one hour on both Saturday and Sunday (attend both days).

U15 players will have a one hour session on Sunday only.

These sessions are included as part of our regular programming so there is nothing else you need to do to participate.

What you need to know

1. U7 to U13 sessions will be run by the coaching staff from Mak's Hockey Academy.
2. The U15 session will likely be run by AMHL U15 coaches.
3. Each session will look like a regular practice, with a combination of drills, small area games, and scrimmages.
4. Players are expected to be in full equipment.
5. If you need a jersey and/or socks, we will have some available at the check-in desk.
6. Players will be evenly split into different time slots based on their last name. Please make every effort to attend your assigned time slot. If you have a conflict, you may attend the other time slot.
7. When you arrive at the rink, there will be a check-in desk run by AMHL volunteers should you have any questions.
