What are House League Evaluations for U7, U8
At the start of each season, the house league directors divide players into equal teams. The number of teams that get created depends on the number of registered players, goalies, and available coaches and trainers.
In order to make a best effort to create teams that are equally balanced in skill, all house league players and goalies are evaluated and scored. All participants are scheduled to attend two sessions which usually take place in mid to late September.
We ask that everyone registered for the coming season make the best effort to attend both sessions. If for some reason you are not able to attend, please be pro-active and reach out to the house league director for your age group to come up with an evaluation score.
What you need to know
- Sessions will be run by the coaching staff from Mak's Hockey Academy.
- Each session will look like a regular practice, with a combination of drills, small area games, and scrimmages.
- Players are expected to be in full equipment.
- Players will be evenly split into different time slots.
- When you arrive at the rink, there will be a check-in desk run by AMHL volunteers.

- Any changes to the schedule will be communicated with as much notice as possible.
