Ancaster Dominates Caledon at Home
Ancaster October 9, 2012
Hey hockey fans - Tonight
the Avalanche were hosting the Hawks from Caledon. In the past the
Hawks dominated the Avalanche however tonight was a different story.
The offence came alive and pelted their goalie with many shots. However it took the Avalanche nearly a period to break through and eventually they won 3-0. Kyle "the keeper" Mandryk got the shut out and stopped a crucial penalty shot midway through the third period. The forward lines were firing on all cylinders while the defence were like a steel wall along Caledon's blue line keeping the puck in the zone time after time. Cycling the puck by both forwards and defense while in Caledon's end was almost picture perfect by the boys in white. Those drills in practice have really paid off !! A great performance by all !!
