With their backs to the wall, the Atom AE Avalanche looked to extend the Tri-County Championship series on Sunday.

Game 2 of the Tri-County Finals took place at Morgan Firestone arena on Friday night.   A scheduling glitch forced the Avalanche team to wait an additional 30 minutes before getting to work.  There was fear that the delay would cause some problems.

Prior to Sunday’s St. Patrick’s Day game in Erin, the Avalanche were told that their powerplay would be one of the keys to their success.  Moving the puck, setting up and getting shots with the man advantage was one of the strategic focuses for Sunday.

The Atom AE Avalanche hosted the Milton Winter Hawks in a Saturday matinee with a trip to the Tri-County finals on the line.  A win or a tie would put Ancaster over the top.

Come out the Saturday March 9 at 3pm at Morgan B to cheer on the The Major Atom AE's as they play the Milton Winterhawks for a berth in the Tri-County Finals.A win or a tie will put the Avalanche in the finals. Go Avalanche Go!
