THIS JUST IN........
......Avs Sweep Fusion and move above .500 in league play.......
The Avalanche played two strong games in a home and home exchange with Centre Wellington and slide into a tie for forth position, just four points out of first. After dominant play over the last three games the "triple threat" line (Pasquale, Kenney and Mahler) were shut out in the latest stand with the Fusion. On this night it was the Liddicoat, Spragg and Mallett line that chipped in for two, strong defensive play from the entire squad and a stellar outing from Fullerton that helped win it for the Avs. Darke was also sharp with the "Gordie Howe Hatrick", a goal, assist and two penalties. Your hard work and "heads up hockey" is paying off!!!!!GO AVS!!!!!
