Major Peewee AA, 2013-2014, A (Ancaster Minor Hockey)

Written by :  Coach Dion Neame The "never stop working attitude" prevailed once again in the final game of the PeeWee 2013-14 season. Down 2-1 to a reborn Caledon team (4-1-0 in the Tri-Counties) our Ancaster PeeWee AA boys, down a man due to a penalty, pulled their goalie to equalize the attackers. Our boys pinned Caledon in their zone winning puck battle after puck battle.  An Ancaster multi shot flurry ended with 0.3 seconds to go in the game with yes, a tying goal! Overtime proved challenging, but the work ethic never wavered, and within minutes victory was ours!

Congratulations to the Ancaster Avalanche PeeWee AA team.  After placing 1st in their Division with a 2-0 win over Windsor Jr Spitfires, 3-0 win over Blue County and a 3-1 win over Vaughan Panthers the Avalanche lost the final game in a tough battle. What a great team bonding weekend for boys, siblings and parents.
