JUST IN......., News, Minor Atom AA, 2013-2014, A (Ancaster Minor Hockey)

The competitive Bowen Division makes wins tough but the Av's keep grinding them out to stay above the psychological .500 barrier. After two close games and and two exciting finishes the Av's came up on the short end of the ``hockey stick`` with back to back one goal losses.

It was looking like a three peat down, 3-1 at the end of 2 to Halton. The Avalanche stormed out of the gates in the third and did not look back, with four unanswered goals!!!. Cioch, Jacobs and Horan were the sparkplug line on this night with the Av`s first, second and winning fourth goal. A breakout night for Cioch who potted two ducks. Kenney netted the third equalizer and made no mistake on the empty netter this time around. A slow start for our usually rock solid D core, who bent, but refused to break down the stretch to help secure the 5-3 win. Warriors beware the Av`s are coming to get yah!!!!!!
