    The boys got the season off to a great start by winning a hard fought battle against the Huskies.  The Huskies scored first but the Avs would not be deterred.  The boys battled back and scored their first goal mid way through the the third period. In true dramatic fashion,  they netted the winning goal with only minutes to spare.  Overall, a solid start for the boys first game as  the Minor Peewee Avalanche.
