Tournament
Pelham : The boys worked hard, but our skating was not as quick as we normally are. We found ourselves 2 point down after the second period. The tournament format was a period by period points system, you received a point if you win the period or half a point if you tied and 2 points if you win. We had half a point if we tied Pelham in the 3rd , but we knew to have a chance to move on, we needed to win the period to get a full point.

Outstanding Team effort by the boy again.
The boys played with passion and held their own for the
first 2 periods.
The boys held their positions and again our Goaltending was
solid, making some amazing saves to keep us in the game.
The Defense kept Dofasco away and setup some nice break
outs.
The Forwards played their positions, back checked and made
some great passes to create good chances to score.
We had our chances but ran out of steam in the 3rd
Period.
Considering that our boys played earlier with their house
league teams a few hours before and that the
periods were 14 minute each. Not bad.
No excuses, our boys should be proud.
Solid performance again by all the boys.
Keep up the good work.
The person who booked the game after a House league games is
responsible. :)

One of our best all around games played by all our boys.
When we played Cambridge about a month ago, we were out of position and on our heels.
We turned that around and played one of our best positional games
and that created many chances to score for our forwards.
Both teams had their chances, but the Defense were ready, neither goaltenders allowed
any goals.
Our boys played 3 strong periods.
As usual, the boys came out and played with passion.
Fantastic team effort from Forwards back checking to Defense holding
their ground to solid Goaltending.

Being down 3 players, the boys came out strong in the first period with more chances to score then Mountain Blues.
The second period Mountain added pressure which open more opportunities for Mountain, which they capitalized on.
The Third period, Ancaster came out stronger in the second half of the third period and showed that they can contend.
Great effort by the boys.
Keep working hard.
