......The Av's continue to struggle at home with a 5-2 loss to the Oakville Rangers.....
After beating the Rangers in the season opener, Oakville rolled into town to seek some revenge.
An aggressive Rangers squad came out bumping and caught the Av's off guard, to take an early 2 goal lead in the first. Ancaster responded with some physical play of their own bringing some much needed life to the bench. A determined Adam Mahler shook off two Oakville players and beat the tender top shelf for the highlight reel goal, on helpers from Jacobs and Stepheson. Lloyd bagged another on the dish from Chambers and "the Bixer" Bixby. After a dominant second the Av's lost their mojo in the third, allowing the Rangers to score three unanswered goals for the win.
