The Ancaster Bantam Selects started late in the Hockey 4 Hunger campaign, but finished strong, leading the AMHL in donations.
The Ancaster Bantam Selects were just 7 cans short of Third place in the campaign, but the community wins. Congratulations.
Thanks to the coaches, players and families for showing that it's not just about the Hockey, it's about the community and giving back.

Thanks again for the your incredible generosity and support for this year's Hockey for Hunger Challenge. Together we raised 4000 food items (over 5000 lbs) of food to help the Good Shepherd to help those in need!

1st Place PeeWee A Girls team coached by Rob Verbruggen, with a record setting total of 1156 items donated!!
Prize: Pizza party courtesy of Cindy Meyer's Dominos Pizza in Ancaster and a Dairy Queen ice cream cake courtesy of Ryan Book's Dairy Queen
2nd Place Atom A Girls team coached by Geraldine Heaney, with an impressive 310 items donated!

3rd Place Midget BB Girls team coached by Jamie Page, with a solid 246 items donated!

Honourable mention goes to Mike Earls' Bantam Select Boys team that lead a very strong showing from the AMHL this year!
