The Novice "A" team captured gold at the Canadian Tire Classic in Barrie the weekend of Nov 24-26, 2017.

This is the teams first tournament win, and they did it with style going 3-0-1 in round robin play, defeating tough teams from Burlington, Barrie, and Quite West , while holding the Owen Sound Jr. Attack to a 4-4 draw.  This landed them in the second place spot after round robin play.
