Closed the door on the Leafs
The most hustle all year was given today on the ice.....
We have never seen the kids work so hard to show they have what it takes to tackle the top 3 teams in the last 3 games. One down, two to go. The defense today worked hard to shutdown most breakaway attempts and they were also quick to get back at those sneaky Leaf forwards breaking in. Our forwards were relentless with their passing and creating shot opportunities. Most goals scored today were on rebounds as we never quit attacking the puck until it was in the net or the whistle went.
Aidan showed he still has steam for net minding, especially with his 2 club blocks out of the air. Sam named Ethan as Captain for next week and Ethan also earned the MVP of the game for his break in passes and perfect positioning.
Another great achievement today was Corbin and Ethan getting their first goals of the year, well deserved!
Ben will still be stretching out his butterfly moves for next week and letting Michael defend out posts.
Only 2 more games left in regular season, lets hear some cheering!!!!!
