Looking forward to a cold and busy January!

I Hope you're all enjoying the cold weather while we've got it! I wanted to send out this update to kick off the new year.

January is looking like another busy month, with a few items of note...
1 - we've got our first practice of the year coming up on Friday, 5pm. Please try and be early, as there is nobody on the ice before us, so we can squeeze in a few extra minutes of skating time. We'll be missing 4 or 5 players from practice this week, as the House League Canadiens are off to Niagara for their first tournament of the year.
2 - Game on the 15th at 7pm vs Dundas
3 - The weekend of the 22nd will be a busy one. We're on the ice 3 times, with a practice on Friday, and away games on both Saturday and Sunday. With the winter weather finally here, please leave extra time for travel, and drive safe.
4 - You may have noticed an extra ice time has been added on Friday the 29th at 2pm (in addition to our 7pm practice). The 2pm ice is an optional skate, located at the Chedoke ice pad. Friday the 29th is a PA day for both the Public and Catholic boards, and this might be an opportunity for the kids to get together for a fun hour of skating/shinny etc... I'll send out a separate note later this month asking for feedback, but if you have suggestions please send them my way. We could head out for a team pizza party or something before our regular 7pm practice that night. Let me know, please.
