With two tough opponents this weekend the Flyers had their hands full as we faced off against the Bruins and the Lightning in back to back games.
Against the Bruins on Saturday the team fought back on multiple occasions to keep the game close. Down by two goals we were able to tie it up headed into the third. A late third period goal put the Bruins up 6-5 and they held on for the win. Again, the coaches decided to pull our goalie for one last run at the Bruins and the boys did a great job digging down low to create some chances.
Game two of the weekend saw the Flyers line up against the Lightning. It was another come from behind situation for our boys as we got down early and fought back to make it close. Twice the boys battled from a two goal deficit to tie the game up but in the end the Lightning held on for the win.
