In our final week of the regular season, the Flyers took on the Canadiens and battled to win a close one 2-0. The game was a back and forth affair with both teams going up against strong goalies. With the extra forecheck from our forwards we were able to get a couple goals behind their goaltender and hold on for the win.
Our defense proved again that the positional play we work on in practice is working. We were able to limit the Canadiens chances while forcing their forwards to the outside. We will continue to focus on this as we gear up for the playoffs.
A great job from the entire team this past weekend.
