The Flyers were in tough this weekend against the Lightning who we know well from practice each week. The boys battled to the last minute and made it a very exciting game. Again the coaches decided to pull the goalie with a minute left to see if we could tie things up but to no avail. We also saw some great hustle from Daniel P to try and save an empty net goal at the end of the game.
Overall the team continues to develop in the key areas of the game. We will continue to focus on skating, puck handling and shooting with the team.
Effort and enthusiasm is not an issue for the team as they really are rallying around their teammates while on the bench.
Congrats to Daniel P, Liam W and Thomas L on their goals this week.
